About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, baselines, and execution plans.
Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against the established schedule, conduct variance analysis, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities, perform schedule risk analyses, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Resource Allocation: Align resources with project schedules and maintain integrated resource planning systems.
Cost Control: Assist in cost control activities, identify cost trends, and support the processing of contractor claims and change orders.
Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and clients to resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Reporting: Create and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports, including graphical representations and critical path analyses.
Contractor Management: Review and validate contractor planning packages, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of ten years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction industry, with specific expertise in high-rise buildings required.
Certification: Certified Engineer (Unlimited Floors).
Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of project management software, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, enabling effective presentation of information and collaboration with diverse teams.
Leadership: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Other Skills: Capability to work independently and as part of a team, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
