About the Role
1.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised university.
2.Minimum 15+ years of overall professional experience, with substantial exposure to the execution and delivery of major buildings and infrastructure projects within the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial sectors.
3.Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from initiation through completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, coordination, and close-out activities.
4.Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked on major Oil & Gas projects within Qatar or the GCC region.
5.Strong technical background with excellent commercial and contractual awareness, including the ability to identify project variations, evaluate contractual risks, manage claims, and protect the contractor’s commercial interests.
6.Demonstrated capability in leading multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders, and ensuring smooth project execution in line with project schedules and contractual requirements.
7. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to oversee day-to-day project operations, manpower planning, resource allocation, productivity monitoring, and site coordination activities.
8.Capable of making sound technical and commercial decisions, resolving project-related issues proactively, and maintaining effective communication with all project stakeholders.
9.Good understanding of project budgeting, cost control, procurement coordination, project reporting, quality requirements, HSE standards, and compliance with company and client procedures.
10. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
